Navigating Your Reports

This article contains the following:

Overview

In the Tatari platform, you can build custom Reports to see the results of your linear or streaming TV campaigns.

This detailed report can help you answer questions such as:

  • How did our creatives perform on a specific streaming publisher (or network)?
  • What was our CPV, CPA, CPI, or lift by publisher (or network) and/or week?
  • What is our daily spend by publisher (or network), week, and/or creative?
  • How does view-through look compared to incremental?
  • How much did we spend this year and what trends are we finding?
  • ...and much more.

Creating and Saving Reports

  1. Log in to your Reports.
  2. Click here to create a new report.
  3. Once you've built a report, hit Save.
  4. Add a name and description. To allow other members of your team to see this report in their Tatari platform, leave the report visibility toggle "On". Then hit Save.

You can now find the reports here.

You can also see reports saved by other members of your team.

If you would like to edit a report created by others, open the report, make changes as necessary, then save it. This will make a copy of the report, and the original one (that was created by someone else on your team) will remain unchanged.

Conversion Type

You can toggle between metrics for your website or app (e.g. visitors, installs).

To see combined metrics across both your website and app, click the option for Visitors + Installs.

Dimensions

  • Platform, Networks & Publishers, Rotations, Creatives and Campaigns: You can see metrics for the selected date range.
  • Tags: See performance by media strategy (e.g. brand, direct response, core, test) or custom tags that your media buyer added to your buys.
    • Roll Up: Shows performance of tags grouped by type
    • Expanded: Shows performance of each individual tag (i.e. only tags with Brand) and/or a combination of tags in instances where a single buy has multiple tags (e.g. brand + test, or core + direct response).
  • Date: Here you can see your response metrics by day, week, or month. If only this dimension is selected (and not any others), you’ll see metrics on a daily, weekly (broadcast week Monday - Sunday), or monthly level for the selected date range.

Note: You can only select three dimensions at a time. To see the totals across platforms, publishers, creatives, etc., remove all of the dimensions.

Attribution Methods

See incremental attribution on linear TV and either incremental, 1-day, 7-day, or 28-day view-through attribution (or select multiple methods to compare performance side by side) for streaming.

Performance Metrics

Select which Conversion or Cost Per metrics you'd like to view in your report.

You can also see combined app + website performance metrics.

The combined metric is unique to your individual account so please reach out to your client services team if you have any questions.

In order to see combined app and web metrics, please make sure the Conversion Type  Visitors + Installs is selected.

Heatmap

The heatmap helps you quickly see which networks or rotations (on linear) or publishers (on streaming) are performing the best (or worst) to make fast optimization decisions.

Turn on the heatmap here:

The color indicator is as follows:

The percentile range doesn’t necessarily indicate performance is poor as there may be other variables to consider. The coloring instead helps you more quickly gauge areas to look into.

Data

All data is inclusive of the start and end dates.

Note: You may find sparse data points until approximately 30-60 days after your first airing.

Column sorting

  • Date: You can sort from the most recent to the furthest day, week, or month (and visa versa) within your selected date range.

  • Publisher
    • If the “Date” dimension is unselected, you can sort publishers alphabetically from A → Z or Z → A within your selected date range.

    • If the “Date” column is also selected, you can sort publishers alphabetically from A → Z or Z → A within the given time period.

  • Spend
    • If both Publisher (or network) and Date dimensions are selected, you can sort from worst to best (or visa versa) performing publisher (or network) by spend or any other metrics within the selected date range.

    • You can also filter to show only specific metrics using a condition shown here.

Tip: To see the totals across platforms, publishers, creatives, etc., remove the dimensions.
